Peripheral devices increase safety even further

Fire safety is all about reliably protecting people, assets, and business processes. Besides powerful panels and intelligent detectors, Cerberus PRO also offers a great number of different peripheral devices – to increase safety even further.

The portfolio of peripheral devices includes:

Addressable manual call points allow immediate manual actuation of a fire alarm

cerberus-pro-addressable-manual-call-points-fdmAddressable manual call points enable immediate manual actuation of a fire alarm or an extinguishing process. They can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications – as well as for surface- and recess-mounted feed lines in easily accessible places. Addressable manual call points allow direct alarm actuation by simply pushing in the glass plate.

Addressable modules intelligently connect and control detectors and peripherals

cerberus-pro-i-o-modules-fdcioAddressable modules intelligently connect independent, potential-free make or break contacts. Two kinds of addressable modules are available: input modules and input/output modules. Input modules monitor devices responsible for alarm inputs and confirm signals or technical states etc. The input lines are monitored for open and short circuits. Addressable modules can be independently configured via a fire control panel for status or alarm messages. The input/output modules reliably control other equipment, such as door holders, fire dampers, smoke control systems, plant shutdown etc. Whatever the need, Cerberus PRO provides the ideal addressable module.

The portfolio of addressable modules comprises:

Description, use

Input module FDCI221

- 1 isolated control input (monitored)

Input/output module FDCIO221

- 1 isolated control input (monitored)
- 1 isolated control output 30 VDC/2 A
- The control output can be configured in two modes:
1. Monitored mode (requires additional 24 VDC power supply)
2. Clean contact mode (loop-powered)

Input module FDCI222

- 4 isolated control inputs (monitored)
- E.g. for status monitoring such as door status

Input/output module FDCIO222

- 4 isolated control inputs (monitored)
- 4 isolated control outputs: 250 VAC/4 A, 30 VDC/4 A
- E.g. for decentralized control of fire doors and flaps

Input/output module "transponder" FDCIO223

Transponder permits the monitored connection of:
- 2 conventional detector lines or
- 2 outputs for alarming devices (monitored) or
- 1 conventional line and 1 monitored output
Remark: Output rated at 24 VDC/2 A.

Fire alarm equipment provides acoustic and optical alarming for safe evacuation

cerberus-pro-alarm-equipment-fdsFire alarm equipment increases safety for people. Providing acoustic and optical alarming, they ensure fast and safe evacuation. Cerberus PRO offers a great choice of fire alarm equipment: alarm sounders, sounder beacons, and sounder bases. The alarm sounders support alarming with acoustic alarm signaling along the escape routes. Different volumes and tones can be selected for a preliminary and a main alarm. All in all, you can choose between 11 different tones, including “evacuation”. The alarm sounder beacons offer acoustic and optical alarm signaling. The integrated flashing beacon provides excellent light intensity with up to 3.2 cd. And using Cerberus PRO fire detectors with a sounder base is a neat detector/sounder combination as a single unit. You see, Cerberus PRO offers fire alarm equipment for any requirement.

Alarm indicators provide visual alarming in case of fire

cerberus-pro-alarm-indicators-fdaiAlarm indicators are connected to fire detectors that are not easily accessible or visible. In case of an event, alarm indicators immediately indicate the alarm signal from the connected detectors. Alarm indicators contain an indicator lamp unit with one or two LEDs. These will light up when the connected detector triggers an alarm.

Repeater panels include displays and terminals on floor level

cerberus-pro-floor-repeater-panels-terminals-ft20The floor repeater panels from Cerberus PRO include the floor repeater display FT2011 and the floor repeater terminal FT2010. Both give a quick overview on floor level. They display system messages in plain text from clearly defined monitoring zones, e.g. a hospital ward. The floor repeater display FT2011 provides a detailed overview of alarms and messages. The floor repeater terminal FT2010 additionally provides the same main operating functions as the control panel. A key is necessary to access and operate the floor repeater panels – increasing security.

Floor repeater terminal FT2010-A1

The FT2010 enables staff to control and operate events without having to be by the control panel. These devices communicate and are powered via a control panel’s C-NET. As a result, since no additional power supply or cabling is required, these devices can be used with great flexibility.

via C-NET or 70 W (optional)

Floor repeater display FT2011-A1

Messages from small monitoring zones, such as hospital wards, can be displayed via the FT2011 floor repeater display with the same event text as displayed at the control panel.
